The MISL All Stars used a seven goal outburst and erased a 2-1 deficit to roll to an 8-3 victory over the ISL All Stars in the 2010 Lindos ISL All Star game at National Stadium on Sunday. Hewerton and Richardino combined to score five goals and four assists for the MISL All Stars. Vince Minors Jr, Domico Coddington, and Kwame Steede scored for the ISL All Stars. Hewerton got the MISL on the board first. Robbie Aristodemo’s corner kick found the foot of Hewerton and buried a blistering shot past Kings GK Troy Hall. The ISL then got back to back goals. First Vince Minors Jr. placed a great shot to the far corner of the MISL goal to tie the game at one after one. Then in the first minute of the Second Quarter, Domico Coddington stripped MISL Defender Vahid Assadpour and beat MISL GK Danny Waltman between the legs to give the ISL their first and only lead of the game. It was all MISL from there. John Barry Nusum evened things at two in the 8th minute. He finished a great set up from Aristodemo. Then Assadpour redeemed himself taking a feed from Worteh Sampson to put the MISL up 3-2 at the half. It was all MISL in the third. They possessed the ball for the first five minutes of the third, then Richardino and Hewerton worked a great two-man game to beat Hall and make it 4-2. The pair teamed up two minutes later when Richardino blistered a shot up under the bar to make it 5-2. Richardino returned the favor in the 11th minute, setting up Hewerton for his second goal of the game. That closed the scoring in the third and put the MISL up 6-2. Richardino set up Matthew Stewart with a great pass to the far post for a tap in goal early in the fourth and the route was on. The MISL forced the ISL players to play catch up and chase the ball the enite fourth quarter. In the final minute Hewerton put the final touches on the win with his third goal of the game to make it 8-2. Apex striker Jahron Dickinson set up the final goal of the night when he cut around his defender and fed a beautiful pass to Storm Midfielder Kwame Steede. Steede tapped it into the back of the MISL net for the final goal of the night. The final was 8-3 MISL.
