The Arsenal selected GK Jason Smith with the overall #1 pick in the 2009 ISL Superdraft. Smith owns the only shutout in ISL history (2-0 vs. Royal in 2008) and played the last two seasons with the Union. Below is the rest of the Arsenal selections.

The Union defeated the Kings 10-4 in game one and The Arsenal took care of the Royal 7-3 in the nightcap at National Stadium.

The Union were paced by Lamaal Crofton’s hat trick. Crofton broke a 3-3 third quarter tie scoring back to back goals at the five and seven minute mark of the third quarter.
